What can I say - Le Creuset makes great cookware. I had purchased their large roasting pan for giant turkeys, and I wanted one to use for chickens and ducts. This roaster cooks very well, is not hard to clean, works fine on the stove for gravy when you pull the roasted item out of the oven, and you can use the pan for lasagne or whatever without the rack. It's beautifully made and will certainly outlive me. You cannot go wrong with this roaster. The only caveat is like all Le Creuset, it's relatively heavy, so if you have issues with lifting things, this might not be your best choice.
